Formerly Stant high performance radiator caps now branded Motorad since their acquisition of Stant, these performance radiator caps are suitable for standard 2 1/8” O.D., 3/4” deep rad necks, the lever type allows pressure to be vented prior to cap removal. They include an upper gasket, so can be used on open or closed cooling systems. Available in a number of pressure ratings.
Warning: High pressure radiator caps are made for use on competition vehicles only.
Do not use these caps on vehicles with O.E. type radiators.
It is recommended that the complete cooling system is pressure tested to the maximum
level of pressure indicated on the cap. Failure to test cooling system to the proper
pressure prior to installing the cap may result in damage to the cooling system
and/or bodily injury.
