Clear protective polyurethane tape that can be applied directly over painted surfaces or decals to help prevent scratching, chipping or other damage. Use on inner wheel arches , wishbones, headlights, door shuts or anywhere added protection may be required. Tape is 0.2mm thick and provides excellent resistance to ultraviolet light and will not yellow over time.
Roll length is 9m, available in 51mm, 76mm & 102mm roll widths.
Application Instructions:
PREPARATION:
For best results, apply at temperatures between 10-27 ° C. Surface must be clean and free of dirt and/or wax prior to application. Use sharp scissors to cut Surface Guard to size before removing liner, experiment with a small piece first.
DRY APPLICATION:
Remove paper liner slowly as Surface Guard is applied. Squeegee into position very slowly. The slower the better. Again, experiment first.
WET APPLICATION:
Spray a mixed solution of soap and water on the surface to be applied over. Remove the liner, apply, position into place and squeegee out bubbles. Any bubbles can be punctured with a scalpel. Allow 24 hours to dry.
