The RayTemp 8 is two termometers in one combining a compact, lightweight 12:1 target ratio infra-red thermometer with laser dot alignment feature and a conventional miniature thermocouple type K probe socket allowing tyre temps to be accurately measured with the included adjustable depth probe. For infra-red measurements simply aim, press the button and display the temperature of the item being measured. The clear, easy to read, LCD display gives a digital read-out of temperature over the range of -60 to 500 C. The RayTemp 8 features a four-button keypad, allowing the user to select C /F and max/min. Additionally, the difference between the maximum and minimum temperature and the average temperature can be displayed.
Plug the included tyre probe or any of our range of type K termocouple probes into the probe socket to accurately measure tyre temperatures or a variety of temperature measurement applications, including air, liquid and surface temperatures up to 1370 C
