The ATL saver fuel cell range is made from a unique tough plastic alloy material (FIA homologated ATL565) and can be fitted with yellow (for petrol) foam baffled to help reduce fuel sloshing and supress potential combustion. Blue foam is also available for diesel and methanol fuel engines and can be ordered in. The ATL saver cell is suitable for use with a carburettor based fuel system, but can be used on a fuel injected system which would require a catchtank or swirlpot.
All saver cells available come with a 6" x 10" top plate which includes a variety of fittings: 2 x -6 JIC fuel pickups, 1 x -6 rollover vent valve, 2 1/4" non return filler necks and an ATL Viton non return flapper valve. There is also a mark for VDO fuel level sender installation (sender not included with cell) The filler neck is removable and can be replaced with a different filler, if for example you need a quicker fill than the supplied neck provides. We can provide tanks without top plates if required.
To comply with FIA regulations, saver cells must be installed within an aluminium container. ATL offer alloy container designed for their saver cells.
