Cars competing in FIA sanctioned events and MSA approved championships are required to be fitted with dry break fuel couplings to enable easy and safe extraction of a fuel sample, the regulations also require that the competitor has available the mating part of the dry break coupling with an attached hose of at least 30cm length.
Our FIA fuel sampling/drain kits incorporate an FIA approved Aeroquip FD90 quick disconnect coupling assembly and an in-line adaptor to allow easy installation into the fuel line. The kit comprises a fuel line adaptor, quick disconnect fittings and a 2 metre, fuel safe, clear PVC drain hose.
Offered in a range of tee adaptors to suit common sizes of push-fit hoses and AN threaded hose ends.
In addition to the complete kit both the on-car assembly and drain hose assembly are available separately for multiple cars or multiple tool sets.
