Designed to meet FIA 8874-2019 which requires rain lights to be up to 3 times brighter than models meeting 2008 Technical List 19 specification. The light can be be wired to illuminate constantly or flashing at 4Hz frequency it is possible to swap between the 2 modes if the light is used in conjunction with a 3 position switch . Another application option is where the lamp is used as a brake light as well as a rain light in which case the rain light would flash when turned on then revert to static mode whilst the brakes are applied.
The light is suitable for vertical or horizontal mounting via the 2 integrated M6 studs and the electrical connection is via Type99 Mil Spec twin core cable approximately 20cm long exiting the rear of the unit.
