The 32/36 DGV & the its automatic choke sibling the DGAV was fitted to many 4 cylinder Ford engines during the 1970/80s. This version of the carburettor has been fitted with a modified linkage that opens both butterflies at the same time rather than in sequence offering a performance advantage over the standard unit.The carburettor is also fitted with a different accelerator pump jet that now feeds both venturis rather than just one.
A stand alone conversion kit is also availble for those wishing to modify their existing carburettor, type "WEBMT0098L" in to the search bar.
The carburettor comes jetted to suit a Ford 1600 SOHC engine as standard with the following specification, a range of alternative jets are avaiable from us at extra cost if required:
